ECHO Counseling
Individual and Relationship Teletherapy in Maryland
“Plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.”

Welcome!
At ECHO Counseling, my goal is to assist my clients in acknowledging, exploring, and ultimately embracing all parts of themselves. Seeking to improve our relationship with ourselves and others can feel uncertain and overwhelming. Difficulties such as life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, sexual shame, and unexpected events can leave us feeling disconnected and isolated. Feelings of depression, anxiety, and low self-worth can be processed and untangled with the collaborative experience of therapy. Relationships can find renewed and deeper bonds and individuals can grow through supportive change.
Please see below for further information regarding areas of specialty practice.
Kink & Ethical Non-Monogamy
As a Certified Kink Aware Therapist, it is my honor and passion to assist clients in navigating their sexual expression, desires, and non-traditional relationship styles. Areas include understanding your kinks, healthy power dynamics, opening a relationship, and navigating, negotiating, and changing structures of open relationships.
Self-Esteem & Mental Health
Creating a deep, unconditional value and comfort within ourselves is vitally important. Whether you struggle with sexual shame, disrupted attachment, depression, anxiety, or reconciling all of the parts of yourself, we will work together to improve your understanding, acceptance, and relationship with yourself.
Religious Trauma
Religious Trauma Syndrome (RTS) is unique as it requires a skilled clinician familiar with authoritarian and oppressive doctrine. RTS can instill shame, lead to anxiety and depression, and create blockages in sexuality, sexual expression, and intimate relationship functioning. I am committed to helping clients walk through the deconstruction process to redefine meaning and purpose, restore the relationship with one’s self and sexuality, replace shame with acceptance, and heal attachment and relational wounds.
Relationships & Life Transition
Our relationships can be a great source of happiness and pleasure. I work with clients to identify areas of interpersonal conflict, learn effective communication skills, and embrace different points of view so that they can strengthen bonds and achieve relationship satisfaction throughout stages of their lives.
