Individual Counseling

Clients work one-on-one addressing relationship issues, sexual health, attachment, self-esteem, anxiety, and life transition. Individualized therapy sessions use a combination of Attachment-based and Compassion-focused techniques, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work through a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens so that your past experiences are honored and respected and the naturally occurring strengths that you possess are highlighted and expanded. Together we will create personalized coping strategies for mental health, uncover roadblocks to interpersonal happiness, and discover methods to develop genuine acceptance and self-worth.

Relationship Counseling

In relationship counseling, the relationship itself is the client and all members of the relationship collaborate together to address issues such as opening up, relationship restructuring, sexual dissatisfaction, kink or desire discrepancies, trust issues, infidelity, communication difficulties, boundaries, attachment, and overall functioning of the relationship. I work with ethically non-monogamous couples, triads, polycules, and monogamous couples to discover underlying points of conflict and assist partners in moving toward each other in an open, honest, and loving way that fosters a deeper connection amongst partners. Latest research indicates that relationship counseling is most effective when sessions are longer and spread out further over time. The relationship counseling sessions that I provide are 90 or 75 minutes in length, typically occurring twice per month.
